Job summary

Norm Reeves Honda, Volkswagen, Genesis in Irvine is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to maintain the dealership's building, electrical systems, and equipment, and to perform related tasks for all departments. Responsibilities include basic maintenance on pumps, fans, controls, plumbing and electrical work, moving equipment, safety inspections, and keeping the grounds clean and functional.

• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

Job description

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $25.00 an hour

The Facilities Maintenance Tech position for Norm Reeves Honda, Volkswagen, Genesis in Irvine will perform and coordinate maintenance, physical appearance, and maintain the working ability of the dealership’s building, electrical, and machinery. Perform miscellaneous errands, assignments, and tasks for all departments as directed.

What You'll Do

• Have a general knowledge of maintenance procedures for mechanical and associated equipment including pumps, fans, pneumatic controls, pressure valves, compressors, air filtration and all other machines.
• Minor troubleshooting and performance of preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and all other related systems.
• Moves furniture, equipment, and vehicles as directed.
• Maintains all light standards, display items, and any other equipment in a ready-for-use status.
• Delivers and picks up equipment to off-site locations and loads/unloads all materials.
• Inspecting buildings to confirm safety standards.
• Maintaining and overseeing company grounds and buildings to ensure a safe and functioning environment.
