Job summary

Norm Reeves Honda, Volkswagen, Genesis in Irvine is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Tech to maintain the dealership's building, electrical systems, and equipment, and to perform related tasks for all departments. Responsibilities include basic maintenance on pumps, fans, controls, plumbing and electrical work, moving equipment, safety inspections, and keeping the grounds clean and functional.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate quickly and effectively any issues/solutions/and updates to team members and vendors.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time & stand on feet for up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to handle a full shift of being active and working in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate maintenance of the dealership's building, electrical and machinery.
• Perform miscellaneous errands and tasks for all departments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Move furniture, equipment and vehicles as directed.
• Inspect buildings to confirm safety standards and maintain safe environment.
