Job description

Kokosing Construction is looking to expand our Facility Maintenance Team with a qualified individual to support our buildings in Ohio and surrounding states.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HVAC and electrical repairs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• HVAC and controls – Boilers – Plumbing – General carpentry.
• Electrical experience required with 1 & 3 phase.
• Must pass a drug test and have a clean driving record.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate with team members and report accurately to the Facility Manager.
• Read and understand drawings, blueprints, and equipment specifications.
• General math skills, computer proficiency, welding, hand tools.
• Maintain high level of awareness in a busy project work environment.
• Non‑Union position.

Responsibilities

• Make decisions and accomplish tasks independently to maintain full functionality of facilities.
• Maintain and repair all brick‑and‑mortar buildings and equipment, including jobsite trailers.
• Maintain heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems 120V 1‑phase to 480V 3‑phase.
• Perform plumbing installations and repairs.
• Repair garage doors.
• General building repairs.
• Maintain security, fire suppression systems, building security and access control.
• Work first shift 6:30 am – 3 pm with overtime during warmer months.
• Travel required with overnight stays as needed.
• Highly motivated and self‑disciplined to complete tasks and support facilities.
