Job summary

Kokosing Construction is expanding its Facility Maintenance Team in Ohio and surrounding states. The role supports buildings with a focus on HVAC, electrical repair, plumbing, and general carpentry. Travel with overnight stays is required, and a non-union full-time position is offered.

Candidate must be self-disciplined, able to read drawings, pass a drug test, and maintain a clean driving record to support 24/7 safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• HVAC and controls including boilers and plumbing.
• Electrical experience required with 1 & 3 phase.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all brick-and-mortar buildings and equipment.
• Service and repair jobsite trailers.
• Maintain Heating/Ventilation and Cooling Systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair 120V to 480V electrical systems.
• Install and repair plumbing.
• Repair garage doors.
• Perform general building repairs.
• Support security, fire suppression, and access systems.

Kokosing Construction is looking to expand our Facility Maintenance Team with a qualified individual to support our buildings in Ohio and the surrounding states.

Key Requirements

• Candidate must be proficient in HVAC and electrical repairs
• 1st shift 6:30am - 3pm with overtime during warmer months
• Travel is required with overnight stays as needed.
• Candidates must be highly motivated and self-disciplined to complete tasks, make decisions on their own and fully support the needs of all facilities to maintain full functionality.
• Non-Union position

Functions and Responsibilities

We are a full-service support group and are responsible for maintaining and repairing:

• All brick-and-mortar buildings and all equipment within
• Jobsite trailers service and repairs
• Heating/Ventilation and Cooling Systems
• Electricity 120V 1-phase to 480V 3-phase troubleshooting and repair
• Plumbing installations and repairs
• Garage door repairs
• General building repairs
• Security, fire suppression systems, building security and access,

Equipment used

• Forklifts
• Personnel lifts
• Rubber tire backhoe and tractors.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• HVAC and controls - Boilers - Plumbing - General carpentry
• Electrical experience required with 1 & 3 phase

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be able to pass a drug test,
• Must have a clean driving record,
• Meticulous attention to details,
• Able to communicate with other team members and report directly to the Facility Manager with accurate details,
• Read and understand drawings, blueprints and equipment specifications,
• General math skills, computers, welding, hand tools,
• Must be able to maintain high level of awareness for a busy project work environment.
