Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the district’s maintenance program, planning preventive maintenance, inspections, and compliance to ensure a safe, efficient environment for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; 5+ years of related maintenance or facilities supervisory experience may be substituted for the degree.
• Current Arizona driver’s license and AHERA certifications (Contractor Supervisor, Building Inspector, and Management Planner) are required.
• Ability to manage staff, plan preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with OSHA/AHERA/NEC and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Hires and oversees maintenance staff and contractors.
• Plans maintenance programs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Inspects sites or arranges inspections to determine repair needs and compliance.
• Oversees and coordinates project work, budgets, and vendor relations.
• Ensures district-wide safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
