Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; five+ years of related maintenance or facilities experience may substitute.
• AHERA certifications for supervisor, inspector and management planner required.
• Project Designer Certification must be achievable within six months of employment.
• Prior supervisory or management responsibility for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Hires, assesses, and oversees performance of assigned staff.
• Plans maintenance programs and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Inspects facilities and coordinates repairs to meet standards.
• Oversees OSHA/AHERA/EPA compliance and related regulations.
• Manages bids, contracts, and vendor performance; ensures project closeout.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration with admin and school leaders.
• Monitors timekeeping and drives continuous improvement across operations.
