• Knowledge of building maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee regular building maintenance and repairs; notify Site Administrator of needs.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment for building occupants and visitors.
• Maintain records on all building and maintenance related issues.
• Assist Site Administrator to secure bids from outside vendors for building and property services as needed; serve as liaison with vendors and oversee and sign off on completed work.
• Conduct regular building inspections and prepare reports.
• Serve as member of the Health and Safety Committee.
• Ensure facilities are in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and building codes.
• Respond to inquiries and requests by center staff and resolve any problems or issues.
• Supervise Facility Specialist and ensure that property is cleaned on a scheduled basis.
• Assist in providing maintenance services as needed.
• Assist in ordering janitorial and other maintenance related supplies; maintain inventory of supplies on hand.
• Oversee and train interns obtained through other funded programs.
• Support staff in the scheduling and set-up/take down for center activities.
• Keep Site Administrator informed of issues related to building maintenance.
• Participate in staff meetings as required.
• Other duties as applicable.
