Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site facilities team in Lake Orion, MI on an alternative shift. You will supervise UAW trades, sanitation staff, and housekeeping, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems while partnering with the Maintenance Manager.

You bring at least 2 years of maintenance supervision, strong organization and communication skills, and a proven ability to direct staff and manage vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Facilities Management is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in maintenance supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule JLL UAW trades personnel, mobile equipment technicians, and general housekeeping staff while overseeing vendor contracts as required
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs across HVAC/R systems, building exhaust systems, elevator maintenance, and utility systems
• Oversee power systems including electrical substations, switchgear, emergency power systems, UPS systems, and standby generators
• Manage building automation systems, monitoring systems, data centers, security systems, and energy conservation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with life safety systems including fire sprinkler systems, smoke/fire detection, fire extinguishers, and evacuation plans
• Perform safe operating tours, investigate and implement assigned projects, and provide on-site coverage during weekend production
• Maintain fleet management operations including scheduled preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and spare parts inventory management
