Job summary

Las Vegas Valley Water is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to plan, supervise, and inspect the maintenance, repair, and minor construction of District facilities. You will coordinate with contractors, develop work scopes, and manage safety and budgets while leading a team to ensure high performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, custodial and related building systems.
• Ability to plan, supervise and coach staff; ensure safety and compliance.
• Familiarity with safety programs and regulations; ability to manage budgets and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, supervises and inspects maintenance, repair, servicing and minor construction of buildings and facilities.
• Develops scopes of work for projects and coordinates with contractors.
• Ensures safety programs are followed and incident prevention is prioritized.
• Responds to emergencies and oversees preventive maintenance programs.
