Job summary

Obsolete Site in Honolulu, Hawaii seeks a skilled supervisor to lead a maintenance crew responsible for equipment and facilities maintenance, repairs, and installations. You will plan, coordinate, and direct work, inspect tasks, and ensure timely completion while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible work experience in hospitality engineering and facilities maintenance performing leader or supervisory duties.
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Clear written and oral communication.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics;
• Strong working knowledge of major building systems and tracking orders.
• Universal Refrigerants Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff and leaders, ensuring compliance with instructions, procedures and deadlines.
• Plans, coordinates, and directs a variety of related work operations. Evaluates work and performs inspections.
• Maintains safety and housekeeping rules; provides training and recognition for staff.
• Coordinates with other departments and manages operations in absence of Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer.
• Plans and allocates resources to balance workloads and meet objectives.
