Job summary

CHP Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the nonprofit corporate office and area locations in Van Wert, OH. The role requires leadership, organization, and communication skills, with hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other handyman tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance on the corporate campus, inspecting branch offices, coordinating timelines with executives, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, etc.).
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
• Understanding of budgeting and performance management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of buildings maintenance within the Van Wert Corporate campus, including security alarms and fire suppression systems.
• Periodically inspect all branch offices to monitor problems and assist with any necessary maintenance or repairs.
• Weekly communicate with maintenance staff and Pres/CEO to coordinate estimates and repair timelines.
• Cleaning and repairs, including mowing, spraying, drywall, some electrical and plumbing.
• Weekly inspection of all building systems (including heating, ventilation, etc.).
• Seasonal duties include landscaping, snow and ice removal.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations, including coordinating fire and tornado drills.
