JobAps is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor 2 for the State of Connecticut DDS, Meriden, CT. The role involves first-line supervision of a diverse maintenance team and oversight of building repairs, Capitol Projects, and emergency repairs to ensure compliance and federal funding integrity.

The position requires extensive experience in building maintenance, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Office and a CMMS.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience in maintenance and repair of buildings.
• Four (4) years of general experience must include skilled tasks in maintenance/repairs.
• Experience supervising all trades is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedules, assigns, oversees and reviews the work of staff.
• Provides staff training and assistance; conducts performance evaluations.
• Manages priorities and plans crew work; develops or recommends policies and standards.
• Liaises with other units and outside officials regarding unit procedures.
