Job summary

ZT Systems, a Sanmina company, is seeking a facilities maintenance supervisor to oversee a chilled water plant's reliability and efficiency. You will guide maintenance staff, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate with production leadership to minimize downtime.

The role requires an associate degree (bachelor preferred), 2–5+ years in maintenance, and experience with automation, troubleshooting, and CMMS. Shift options include A/B/D shifts; day shift plus after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• 0-1 years of experience in maintenance leadership
• Experience with automation and robotic recovery required.
• Experience performing troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis
• Experience in team building, coaching and succession planning for technicians
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Able to communicate in technical terms with skilled labor
• Basic knowledge of electrical and building code
• Basic knowledge of OSHA code
• HVAC-R knowledge
• Cooling tower knowledge
• Electrical up to 480 VAC 3-phase
• Basic knowledge of motor controls
• Employee portal systems (timecard and performance reviews)
• Good knowledge of CMMS systems
• Good preventative/predictive skills
• MS Office software applications

Responsibilities

• Directing and supporting the Maintenance staff, providing coaching and both positive and negative feedback
• Maintaining maintenance KPI to ZT standards (MTBF, MTTR, PM completions, downtime reports, slack time reports and project status)
• Scheduling repairs and preventive-maintenance schedules with production leadership
• Maintaining inventory min/max levels
• Working with mechanical contractors for rebuilds
• Critiquing and improving SOP for increasing maintenance performance
• Managing continuous improvement and capital projects
