Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in San Leandro, CA, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Leader responsible for directing maintenance strategy to improve asset uptime and reliability. You’ll develop preventive and predictive programs and lead root-cause analysis to reduce downtime.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent with leadership exposure; strong OSHA safety knowledge; and experience managing contractors, budgeting, and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of related maintenance and leadership experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma/ GED or technical certification with 6–8+ years in maintenance and 2–3+ years leadership.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility maintenance strategy to improve asset uptime and reliability through preventive and predictive programs and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance policies and OSHA safety requirements.
• Manage third-party contractors and oversee the contractor management program to maintain efficiency.
• Maintain equipment, buildings, grounds, HVAC, and safety systems to company standards.
• Provide responsive maintenance support and timely completion of service calls and repairs.
• Support budgeting and capital projects; champion initiatives to reduce utility consumption and drive continuous improvement.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $87,840 - $109,800 plus annual target bonus

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for facility maintenance efforts, enhancing asset utilization and uptime through the implementation of professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes, and developing preventive and predictive maintenance programs that include failure and root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with all maintenance company policies and procedures while prioritizing safety in accordance with OSHA regulations and best practices
• Manage third-party contractors and oversee the company contractor management program to maintain operational efficiency
• Maintain all equipment, buildings, and grounds to meet company standards, including landscaping, fire safety systems, HVAC, and critical process equipment
• Provide responsive and proactive maintenance support to all facility customers, ensuring timely completion of service calls and machinery repairs
• Support facility budgeting and capital projects while championing initiatives that reduce utility consumption and drive continuous improvement through breakdown analysis
• Travel up to 10% of the time
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma or Technical School Certification with 6 to 8 plus years of specific experience and 2 to 3 plus years of leadership experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Electrical or Vocational Certification or Bachelor's Degree
