Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and supervise tasks on facilities and equipment. The role involves performing complex repairs across carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, and supporting preventive maintenance programs.

You will direct vendors and ensure safe, compliant operations across the facility. The position requires strong communication, data recording skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in maintenance or operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and external vendors.
• Proficiency with computer systems to record and track data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
• Perform complex building repairs in carpentry, electrical and plumbing.
• Assist in preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Direct work and supervise vendors/technicians who repair/maintain equipment or systems.
• Conduct weekly and monthly inspections for repairs and safety hazards.
• Be a team member and perform duties to support the company.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Schedule and direct vendor work to ensure quality completion.
• Record data from main electrical panels quarterly.
• Inspect equipment and areas like air compressors, roofs and sprinkler systems.
• Support conference room setup for meetings and events.
• Receive and track deliveries and manage associated tasks.
• Maintain positive interactions with associates at all levels.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
