Job summary

Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Building Maintenance Specialist to perform journey-level maintenance, repair, diagnosis, and preventative care for PYT facilities. You will fabricate, modify, and install systems per plans and standards while maintaining detailed records and coordinating with supervisors and contractors.

The role requires interpretation of complex blueprints, adherence to codes, and the ability to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of direct journey-level work experience in the trade or skill preferred.
• Certified apprenticeship program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication or modifications of equipment, housing facilities, and systems.
• Perform skilled analysis and critical repairs per standards and regulations.
• Inspect, maintain, and service tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Maintain records of work performed and prepare project estimates and sketches.
• Interpret codes, blueprints, and diagrams to communicate work needs.
