Job summary

brokenbow-ne is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support building and grounds maintenance, helping create a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff. Qualified candidates will have practical maintenance experience, high integrity, a caring attitude, and a positive image.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Inspect resident rooms, common areas, offices, mechanical areas, and other facility spaces for needed repairs.
• Perform basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, and other building components.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, fixtures, hardware, and other items as needed.
• Assist with routine inspection and maintenance of facility equipment and systems.
• Identify maintenance issues requiring specialized repair and promptly report them to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Assist contractors and outside service personnel when directed.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
