The Residence at Boyertown is seeking a Safety & Maintenance Assistant to keep the community safe, well-functioning, and welcoming. You will maintain the residence, grounds, and equipment while promoting a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least one year of maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of environmental health and general safety practices.
• Troubleshooting and general hands-on repair skills.
• Collaborative, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repairs, inspections, and visual improvements.
• Inspect the residence and grounds to identify needs and hazards.
• Work with outside contractors on projects, representing the community professionally.
• Follow safety procedures and precautions during maintenance work.
• Support safety policies and compliance with regulations including OSHA.
• Maintain records of tasks and materials and assist with inventory.
