Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Facilities Maintenance worker to handle daily maintenance tasks across campus buildings, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, painting, and groundskeeping. The role supports the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor and Director Corporate Facilities and Services with 50‑lb lifts, ladder work, and routine repairs.

Responsibilities include preventive HVAC maintenance, equipment upkeep, and assisting with moves, with after-hours emergency coverage as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years’ experience in applicable field.
• Valid Class E driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, landscaping/grounds keeping, and maintaining equipment/vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC units and other building systems.
• Assist in departmental moves and setup of cubicles and offices.
• Perform electrical requirements as needed and routine plumbing tasks.
• Inspect, repair and replace plumbing fixtures, fittings and pipes.
• Carry out painting, carpentry, lighting and general maintenance tasks.
• Maintain grounds and remove trash, weeds and debris.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies within 30 minutes or less.
• Create and close Work Orders using handheld devices and apps.
