Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of North Louisiana Inc is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to help keep facilities safe, functional, and welcoming for staff, clients, donors, and customers. You will perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, preventive tasks, painting, and general upkeep across multiple Goodwill NLA locations, often working independently.

You will operate a Goodwill maintenance vehicle, use hand and power tools, and coordinate with location leadership to minimize disruption.

Qualifications

High school diploma, HiSET/GED, or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities, construction, or related area is required.
No trade license or professional maintenance certification is required.
Employment is contingent upon successful background check and screenings.

Responsibilities

Inspect facilities and perform scheduled maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep.
Perform painting, patching, hardware replacement, and preventive tasks.
Assemble, install, move, or secure furniture and fixtures as assigned.
Report unsafe conditions and coordinate with outside providers when needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and records; operate company vehicles safely.
