United States Digital Space LLC in Buford, GA is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Service Technician for our temperature controlled distribution center. You will monitor building systems, perform routine inspections, and coordinate preventive maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires experience in maintenance within a distribution center or similar industrial setting, strong troubleshooting, safety focus, and the ability to work with frontline staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, maintenance technician, or service technician roles.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment used in distribution centers or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of operating maintenance tools and equipment (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, gauges, meters).
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and distribution center environments.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Strong communication skills with frontline employees, vendors, and leadership.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and conveyance systems.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety standards.

Facilities Maintenance Service Technician (Distribution Center)

Location -Buford, GA, USA - 4435 Thompson Mill Road

Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $25-27/hr (depending upon experience).

Shift: Monday - Friday 12pm - 8:30pm

Note: OT mandatory if required. Shift may change based on needs of the business.

Facilities Representatives are eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and can earn up to an additional 5% of their salary.

This individual will evaluate facility needs, recommend improvements to optimize space utilization, and support uninterrupted operations through proactive facility management and maintenance practices.

What You'll Need

The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing equipment in a distribution center, manufacturing, or industrial environment, along with strong troubleshooting skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.

Qualifications include

• Facility maintenance, maintenance technician, or service technician experience.
• Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of equipment used in a distribution center environment.
• Knowledge of and ability to safely operate maintenance-related tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, and similar equipment.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center environments.
• Exposure to multiple maintenance and skilled trades, including mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with frontline employees, vendors, and leadership teams.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new equipment, technologies, and conveyance systems.
• Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and OSHA safety standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use, climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.
• May work at heights at times
