Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated maintenance associate to uphold safety and sanitation standards across club facilities. You will gather and return carts, clean floors, and perform routine maintenance inside and outside the store to ensure a welcoming environment for members.

The role emphasizes teamwork, prompt service, and adherence to club policies. Training will be provided, and the position offers opportunities for growth within the facilities team.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work on hard surfaces.
• Must complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains cleanliness of the club including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor areas.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Returns new and unused merchandise to the sales floor when applicable.
• Operates cleaning and maintenance tasks (mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, trash removal).
• Maintains outdoor grounds and responds to safety and sanitation standards as needed.
