Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Facility Maintenance professional to perform maintenance across service centers, coordinate vendor repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to manage tasks independently on-site.

Required are a high school diploma and basic skills in electrical, carpentry, and plumbing, plus familiarity with maintenance software. Travel to other centers may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to work alone or as a team member.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• PC experience and ability to use maintenance software programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair service center facility, shop, grounds and dock area.
• Ensure compliance with all company standards and safety code requirements.
• Act as a liaison and central point of contact for maintenance needs.
• Schedule and oversee repairs with vendors and coordinate in-house work.
• Coordinate with Facility Maintenance team and advise on issues.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company policies.
