Job summary

CRNA is seeking a Manager of Maintenance & Organizational Safety to lead maintenance staff, ensure safe operations, and manage health and safety programs at Copper Center, AK. The role emphasizes training, compliance, and timely reporting, with on-call responsibilities and coordination of field visits.

The position requires supervisory experience, relevant vocational training, and a strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and HIPAA considerations.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems.
• Strong problem solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Familiar with building codes, safety regulations, and health/safety standards.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations.
• Proficient in documenting inspections, safety reports, and compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff, including training and performance management.
• Oversee safe, compliant operation of facilities, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate grounds duties, snow/ice removal, and property upkeep.
• Assess repair vs. replacement of equipment and infrastructure.
• Be on-call for emergencies and coordinate monthly field visits.
• Manage Health & Safety program, OSHA/CARF compliance, and policy documentation.
• Oversee safety inspections, incident reporting, and workers’ compensation docs.
• Administer Emergency Notification system and monitor weather-related closures.
• Support training and professional development aligned with program priorities.
