Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Tenant Coordinator to work with in-house engineers and landlord reps to repair lighting, furniture and building systems across the off-campus portfolio of clinical, research, and administrative spaces.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of building maintenance experience, with solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. Strong recordkeeping and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years building maintenance experience in a residential or commercial building is required.
• General knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, air conditioning, heat and hot water is essential.

Responsibilities

• Recordkeeping: maintain records, quotes, vendor lists and paperwork.
• Safety: identify hazards and respond to unsafe conditions; available for emergencies after hours.
• Floor inspections: perform daily inspections and coordinate with building staff.
• Heat and hot water systems: monitor and ensure functioning; notify management of issues.
• Repairs: direct repairs to appliances and fixtures; respond to assignments promptly.
• Work of Contractors: monitor outside contractors for quality and completion.
• Maintenance of Equipment/Supplies: track inventory and ensure equipment is in good order.
