Tennant Solutions is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and systems to ensure safe, reliable operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to repair requests, and support facility improvement projects in an on-site environment.

The role requires the ability to work independently, read technical documentation, and follow safety procedures. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine corrective actions.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building issues.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Perform routine inspections of building systems, equipment, and facility conditions.
• Identify potential equipment or facility failures before they cause downtime.
• Complete basic electrical repairs, including lighting, switches, outlets, motors, and related components.
• Perform plumbing repairs, including faucets, drains, toilets, piping, and water systems.
• Perform basic carpentry, drywall, painting, door, racking, and general building repairs.
• Support installation, relocation, and modification of equipment and workstations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE, and electrical safety procedures.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment deficiencies, and facility hazards.
• Support continuous improvement and facility initiatives.
• Assist with emergency facility repairs as needed.
• Perform additional facility and maintenance duties as assigned.
