Job summary

The Town of Duxbury is seeking a Maintenance Manager within the Facilities department. You will assist the Facilities Director with planning, budgeting, and overseeing town and school building projects.

You will supervise tradespeople and contractors, manage procurement, maintain records, and ensure compliance with DPS and safety codes. Candidates should have strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills and a MA driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 3–5 years facilities management or building maintenance experience.
• Strong customer service skills and sound judgment.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Building Management Systems and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise facilities projects from inception to closeout.
• Assist with bidding, contracting, and design reviews.
• Prepare specifications and monitor budgets.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
• Train and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.
