Job summary

You will maintain records on work progress, materials and equipment, read blueprints and diagrams, determine needed personnel and supplies, adjust heating and air conditioning controls and perform preventive maintenance, reporting progress to superiors.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related maintenance experience within the last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the upkeep, maintenance and repair of state buildings and related structures.
• Maintain records of work progress, materials and equipment used.
• Inspect progress to ensure compliance with standards and report to superiors.
• Read blueprints and sketches to determine materials and personnel required.
• Adjust heating and air conditioning controls and requisition supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
