Job summary

Johns Island Post Acute is a gorgeous 132-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility on Johns Island, SC, seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Assistant. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing and HVAC issues, and assist with room renovations to keep our facility safe and welcoming for residents and staff.

Qualifications

General maintenance experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry.
Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders and work independently.
Dependable, motivated, team player with a heart for serving seniors.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.
Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance issues.
Complete preventative maintenance tasks.
Assist with room renovations and equipment repairs.
Maintain building and grounds and respond to maintenance requests with a positive attitude.
