Job summary

West Suburban YMCA in Newton, MA is seeking a Full-Time Facilities Professional to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. The role covers custodial duties, light maintenance, and readiness for events, with a focus on safety and high-quality spaces for members and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Minimum of one year of related facilities and maintenance experience.
• Trade experience or technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or pool operations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean, safe, and welcoming facility environment through daily custodial and maintenance tasks.
• Monitors facility conditions and identifies safety needs for timely resolution.
• Performs minor repairs and assists with setup and event operations.
• Supports multiple locations and flexible scheduling as required.
