Qualifications

• State Builder’s License and HVAC certification preferred; Valid driver’s license required (no restrictions).
• Basic computer skills are required
• Considerable knowledge of building maintenance, tools, and safety practices.
• Strong written and oral communication; problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate leadership; train staff on policies and duties
• As a Maintenance Lead you must enforce safety regulations and work under pressure
• Very organized with schedules and records; follow client direction precisely

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance staff by determining workloads and schedules.
• Evaluates staff and makes hiring or termination recommendations; manages and motivates staff.
• Maintains facilities per local and state building codes.
• Manages cost, methods, staffing; sets budgets and schedules.
• Prepares service estimates and maintains budgets for projects.
• Develops policies with leadership to achieve goals.
• Negotiates sub-contractor contracts and inspects work for safety.
• Ensures preventive maintenance and keeps equipment records.
• Builds relationships with employees, vendors, and the public.
• Drives continual improvement across the organization
