Walmart seeks a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead a regional team ensuring safe, efficient operation of store facilities in Gulfport, MS. The role involves significant travel, regulatory compliance, and coordination with managers and vendors.

Responsibilities include maintenance planning, reporting, and ensuring licenses and permits are up to date. A Master Plumber license and a related engineering or construction management degree are preferred.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll lead a team of dedicated technicians, ensuring our buildings operate efficiently and sustainably while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our associates and customers. Other duties include:

• Maintain and oversee predictive and preventative maintenance of facilities within a regional area.
• Lead approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
• Work directly with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility services needs.
• Work directly with different vendors and contractors if needed.
• Reporting and analytics.
• Maintain up-to-date contractor licenses to uphold good standing with relevant authorities.
• Participate in training programs to ensure familiarity with the latest regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance and quality standards.
• Obtain and secure all necessary permits and schedule inspections as mandated by relevant mechanical or building codes, when applicable.

• EPA Universal Certification.
• PMP Certification.

• Current MS Master Plumbing License, in good standing.
• Maintain Mechanical Contractor Licenses in state of employment.

Additional Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Preferred Qualifications

• Building controls or related area, experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• External work experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in an optical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years' experience in the above areas with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working.
