HII's Newport News Shipbuilding division seeks a maintenance supervisor to lead trades and contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems across our facilities.

You will set priorities, forecast work, and allocate resources to complete preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, drawing on expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and general maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Apprentice Certification, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 8 years of applicable, progressive technical, professional and/or supervisory work experience.
• A thorough understanding of construction, manufacturing processes, and operations.

Aufgaben

• Supervises employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment.
• Sets priorities and performs forecasting and allocates the resources needed to complete all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
