Job summary

The Nicholasville Community Center, operated by Sports Facilities Management, LLC, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Manager in Nicholasville, KY. The role oversees maintenance, repairs, grounds, and equipment, with emphasis on HVAC, technical systems, and turf management to keep the facility safe and functional.

Lead a maintenance team, manage vendors, and ensure adherence to safety standards while reporting to the General Manager; flexibility to respond to emergencies and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facility/grounds maintenance experience with supervisory duties.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and safety regulations, and lead a team.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and local building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and grounds team; hire, train, schedule and supervise staff.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
• Troubleshoot facility issues; manage repairs, vendors and contracted services.
• Oversee grounds upkeep, landscaping, lighting and irrigation systems.
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
