Job summary

The Nutrition Group, including Facilities Management Systems, seeks a leader to supervise custodial and/or maintenance staff and drive daily operations in a school facilities context.

You will analyze staffing, secure vendor bids, manage supplies, and uphold safety standards while maintaining regular communication with district leadership across facilities. This role emphasizes hands-on supervision and collaboration with educational partners.

Qualifications

• Must have facilities management experience with custodial and/or maintenance operations.
• Experience with building and grounds upkeep and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with school directors and admins.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and facilities management software.
• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise custodial and/or maintenance staff.
• Perform staffing analyses to optimize coverage and efficiency.
• Solicit and secure bid specifications from vendors.
• Arrange order of supplies and equipment as needed.
• Promote safety awareness and provide training.
• Maintain daily communications with school directors and administration.
