Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group seeks a Facilities Maintenance Manager for Bottleworks Hotel. You will oversee daily maintenance activities, direct work orders, and manage building systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, leading on-call rotations, and driving capital/expense projects within budget. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems is required with a focus on guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5-10 years field experience in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of life safety, NFPA, ADA, NEC and building codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage building systems.
• Strong organizational skills with independence.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance activities and manage projects.
• Monitor building mechanical and electrical systems.
• Direct and coordinate day-to-day work orders and on-call rotation.
• Develop scopes of work and bid with qualified contractors.
• Ensure safety hazards are minimized and spaces are aesthetically maintained.
• Support capital/operational expense approvals within budget.
• Collaborate with Director on scope and approvals.
• Respond to tenant maintenance calls after hours as needed.
• Maintain reports on routine maintenance of systems.
• Drive is an essential function and part of daily duties.
