Job summary

Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance for a property, overseeing mechanical and electrical systems, safety compliance, and a 24/7 on-call rotation. You will manage work orders, supervise staff, and coordinate with HDG Management to meet budget goals.

The role requires 5–10 years of field experience, broad knowledge of building systems, and strong interpersonal skills to work with tenants and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years field experience.
• Broad general knowledge of building construction, maintenance and systems (read blueprints, HVAC, boilers, sprinklers, utilities and electrical).
• Knowledge of life safety, NFPA, ADA, NEC and general building codes.
• Highly motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills and independence.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, contractors and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities for a property.
• Monitor and maintain mechanical and electrical systems.
• Manage the daily work order system and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate capital/operational expense alignment with budgets.
• Lead safety initiatives and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Respond to tenant maintenance calls and emergencies, including after hours.
