Job summary

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 3 years of facilities maintenance experience, with supervisory duties over custodial trades and knowledge of safety and fire codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years facilities maintenance experience.
• Supervise custodial trades and ensure safe, compliant facilities.
• Knowledge of school health, safety and fire codes.
• Working knowledge of two major trades (e.g. plumbing, painting, electrical).
• Perform basic maintenance tasks (toilets, faucets, filters, bulbs).
• Lift and manipulate up to 100 lbs; operate energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff and prepare work schedules.
• Provide training on methods and safety; orient new staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance per district plans; issue work orders.
• Order supplies and maintain inventories; ensure school site security.
• Coordinate with Teachers/Administrators for repairs; maintain equipment safely.
