Job summary

Rose Valley Management is seeking a maintenance supervisor to organize, direct, and supervise the maintenance and repair program for buildings and grounds, coordinating activities with other departments.

You will plan, supervise and perform a wide range of trades, ensure compliance with state and local codes and OSHA safety standards, manage work orders and supervise staff.

Strong reading of blueprints, ability to train personnel, and respond effectively to emergencies are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or technical school graduate.
• At least two years' experience in maintenance and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of state and local codes and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to plan and supervise repair or new construction and/or installation.
• Ability to direct others and manage costs.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, supervises and/or performs maintenance tasks across trades.
• Schedules repairs, preventive maintenance, replacement and new installation.
• Advises and consults with Community Manager on maintenance and repairs.
• Instructs and supervises other maintenance personnel.
• Keeps records of work performed and costs involved.
• Ensures compliance with codes and OSHA safety regulations.
