LHH is seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, improvement, and expansion of industrial facilities in Canton, Ohio. You will ensure buildings, equipment, and systems are maintained safely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with safety standards while coordinating contractors and vendors.

You will develop preventive maintenance programs, lead multiple projects, read blueprints, and manage budgets.

We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, improvement, and expansion of facilities and grounds within an industrial environment.

This position is responsible for ensuring buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and facility systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The role will also oversee contractors and vendors, coordinate facility improvement projects, and support ongoing infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operations of facilities, grounds, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and facility systems.
• Coordinate repairs and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and identify needed repairs, replacements, and improvements.
• Oversee facility systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, security, and utilities.
• Partner with leadership to identify facility needs and long-term infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate facility shutdowns, utility modifications, and operational impacts related to construction activities.
• Source, evaluate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Ensure contractors comply with established safety, insurance, and project requirements.
• Conduct contractor orientations and communicate facility procedures, safety protocols, and site expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for facility-related projects and issues.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, construction, or project management experience preferred.
• Experience managing contractors and facility improvement projects.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or production environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, facility maintenance practices, and construction processes.
• Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and facility compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documents.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to routinely walk throughout facilities, production areas, and construction sites.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders and access elevated areas as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.

Compensation

$80,000–$100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Canton, OH area.
