Job summary

DBO, LLC is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee maintenance, operation, and improvement of our facilities and grounds. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective performance of buildings, equipment, and support systems while coordinating internal maintenance and vendor relationships.

You will lead preventive maintenance programs, manage contractors, ensure compliance with safety and policy standards, and drive site improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred in a relevant field.
• 5+ years facility, maintenance, construction, or project management experience preferred.
• Experience managing contractors and facility improvement projects.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and construction processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance and operation of facilities, grounds, and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for buildings and equipment.

JOB SUMMARY

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, improvement, and expansion of company facilities and grounds. This position ensures that buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and support systems are maintained in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The Facility Manager coordinates internal maintenance activities, manages contractor relationships, oversees facility improvement projects, and ensures all vendors and contractors comply with company policies, safety requirements, and project expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of all company facilities, grounds, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for buildings, equipment, and facility systems.
• Coordinate repairs and corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and identify areas requiring repair, replacement, or improvement.
• Ensure facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, security, and utilities, are functioning properly.
• Collaborate with company leadership to identify facility needs and long-term infrastructure improvements.
• Coordinate facility shutdowns, utility modifications, and operational impacts related to construction activities.
• Source, evaluate, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and service providers.
• Verify contractor compliance with company policies, safety requirements, insurance requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Conduct contractor orientations and educate vendors on facility procedures, safety protocols, and site-specific expectations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues and projects.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to routinely walk throughout facilities, production areas, and construction sites.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access elevated work areas as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of facility, maintenance, construction, or project management experience preferred.
• Experience managing contractors and facility improvement projects.
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or production environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, facility maintenance practices, and construction processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and facility compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with maintenance tracking systems, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documents.
