Job summary
Arvato is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance & Logistics Engineering Manager to lead proactive facility maintenance and drive engineering initiatives at the Louisville, Kentucky site. You will optimize equipment utilization, scale operations, and collaborate with IT, Safety, and Continuous Improvement teams to ensure peak performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in Facilities/Engineering Management or similar role.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Strong background in distribution, fulfillment, warehousing, or logistics operations.
- Experience with conveyor systems, automation equipment, robotics, WCS, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS platforms.
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and facility-related service providers.
- Proven success in process improvement and capital project initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance projects for machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
- Maintain PM records and drive improvements in equipment availability.
- Oversee all facility repairs, maintenance activities, and building upkeep.
- Manage vendor contracts and service providers to reduce costs and improve service levels.
- Coordinate third-party services including housekeeping, waste management, and more.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and safety standards across operations.
- Lead or support CAPEX projects involving automation, robotics, and facility infrastructure.
- Develop business cases and ROI analyses for improvements.
