Job summary

Pace is seeking an Assistant Section Manager, Facilities Maintenance to support day-to-day operations and staff. The role includes QA/QC oversight, project management, and development of maintenance strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 10 years of experience in facility management and operations.
• Minimum of three years of mechanical, building automation systems, and building construction experience including electrical and mechanical work, construction field work, and factory/industrial maintenance and installations.
• Experience reading and interpreting building drawings, specifications, and writing maintenance procedures, preferably for vehicle maintenance facilities.
• Field and/or vocational training with construction/technical drawings, system refrigerant recovery and electrical theory.
• ICC Property Certification is preferred. Building automation and HVAC control system experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing QA/QC reviews of all construction work scopes and develops replacement/repair plans and cost estimates for facility equipment.
• Developing and implementing facility management best practices including asset management, preventative and reactive maintenance, and long-term capital planning.
• Estimates costs and determines maintenance priorities in the development of annual budgets. Directs and enhances current Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Reviewing all Quarterly Inspection Reports and follows up with issues; ensures compliance with regulations and warranties; maintains consistency in methods.
• Investigates system malfunctions and failures to diagnose root causes; serves on the emergency response team and provides recommendations.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
