Roles require overseeing HVAC, elevators, fire safety, electrical issues, and landscaping. A valid driver’s license is required, and experience in multi-tasking within a care-focused environment is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years related experience and/or training.
• Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.

Aufgaben

• Manages associates responsible for general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds.
• Supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff; hires, trains, evaluates, and disciplines as needed.
• Directs workers in interior and exterior upkeep; inspects work for quality and policy conformance.
• Oversees scheduled maintenance of HVAC, elevators, fire/sprinkler systems, generators and landscape.
• Coordinates resident maintenance requests; handles plumbing, electrical, heating issues and lighting.
• Oversees repairs of vacated rooms; performs painting and carpet cleaning as needed.
• Maintains common areas; ensures safety and compliance with local codes and SDS where applicable.
• Communicates with fire marshals, inspectors, and relevant authorities.
• Assesses plumbing/electrical problems and determines best corrective actions.
• Responds to resident or community emergencies; provides assistance.
