Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Fort Worth, TX facility. You will oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds, train mechanics, and ensure adherence to safety and company standards.

You will work with planners to complete weekly preventive maintenance and manage costs and performance across maintenance teams. Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of maintenance experience, 2+ years in leadership, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 2+ years experience in a facility maintenance department (Level 5)
• Minimum: 5+ years maintenance experience
• Minimum: 2+ years of leadership experience
• Introductory skill set of maintenance (Level 4)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and recommend solutions

Responsibilities

• Communicate with supervisors and managers on daily operational activities
• Promote safety and sanitation in all areas
• Coordinate weekly preventive maintenance with Planner/Scheduler
• Ensure timely completion of corrective work orders with 100% accuracy
• Oversee maintenance testing records and cost tracking
• Develop and train associates in maintenance duties
• Assist operations to identify root causes and recommend changes
• Supervise and coach direct reports and conduct performance reviews
