Job summary

SharBert Enterprises in Belgrade, MT, seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Technician to maintain facilities, equipment, refrigeration systems, and manage upgrades. This hands-on role includes project management, vendor coordination, and safety compliance.

You will collaborate with security, prepare preventive maintenance plans, support budgets, and handle work orders while promoting sustainability and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years of related facilities, maintenance, refrigeration, construction, or building systems experience required.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• General contractor, construction management, or comparable project coordination experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly with feedback.
• Liaises between employees, management, vendors, and outside contractors for maintenance issues.
• Collaborates with security to monitor facility security incl. access control and surveillance.
• Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assists in budgeting, forecasting expenses, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensures safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in emergency preparedness planning and safety initiatives.
• Maintains facility records and coordinates meetings with contractors.
• Maintains inventory and orders materials as needed.
• Supports sustainability through energy conservation and waste reduction.
• Performs repairs of refrigeration equipment and systems.
• Oversees building repairs and renovation projects.
