Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Lead to drive operational efficiency in our manufacturing infrastructure. You will optimize equipment reliability, oversee environmental compliance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to keep the production environment safe, compliant, and productive.

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering and environmental management in a manufacturing setting.

• Expertise in managing complex EHS programs, including hazard communication and safety training.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operational results.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance operations to minimize downtime and maximize production throughput.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for all manufacturing machinery.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships: drafting specs, evaluating bids, ensuring quality.
• Lead environmental health and safety (EHS) initiatives, including wastewater monitoring and waste management.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations through audits and reporting.
• Control departmental budgets and allocate resources to facility-wide objectives.
