Job summary

SabCon Underground seeks a Facilities Maintenance leader to oversee all equipment maintenance and facility operations, including mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. The role covers inspections, compliance, and coordinating with vendors to ensure reliable, safe facilities.

Responsibilities include implementing preventive maintenance, routine checks, record-keeping, scheduling major repairs, and addressing safety hazards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver License.
• Forklift operation.
• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting, electrical, HVAC.
• MS Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Methodical, organized and detail oriented.
• Strong time management and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains a preventive maintenance program.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Maintains records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Addresses safety hazards and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures buildings and grounds meet safety regulations and standards.
• Schedules and coordinates major repairs and maintenance projects.
• Performs routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and upkeep.
• Inspects and diagnoses problems and determines corrective actions.
• Installs, repairs, or replaces equipment and fixtures.
• Repairs electrical components and switches.
• Maintains machinery, mechanical equipment, and buildings.
• Diagnoses and repairs plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other issues.
• Manages inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintains landscaping and groundskeeping as needed.
• Storm readiness as needed.
• Picks up and delivers tools and equipment; loads/unloads deliveries.
• Provides support for events and special projects.
• Works with vendors and contractors for timely repairs.
• Oversees events setup and breakdown as needed.
• Additional duties as needed.
