Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative in West Seneca, NY seeks a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for operation and maintenance of plant systems and equipment.

You will lead preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, electrical and mechanical issues, and train team members to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Salary range is $81.7k–$114k per year, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a large cooperative.

Qualifications

• Must have strong knowledge of electro-mechanical systems and related equipment.
• Experience with PLC controllers, pneumatics, and process instrumentation is required.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics/drawings and work safely.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all phases of operation and maintenance of plant systems and equipment.
• Manage preventative and predictive maintenance of process equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLC and computer-controlled devices.
• Handle minor plumbing, building repair, and maintenance tasks.
• Train other team members.
• Monitor performance and optimize utility-related equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations and safety.
• Support employee development and enforce company policies.
