Job summary

Jabil in Florence, SC is seeking a facilities team lead to manage preventive maintenance, oversee building and plant services, and drive improvements in facility operations. The role reports to the Functional Manager and requires strong leadership, safety, and regulatory compliance expertise.

The position is a Monday–Friday first shift, with responsibilities including budgeting, coordination of facility works, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities operations and maintenance.
• Ability to manage safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and routine maintenance, and overhaul of building and production equipment.
• Oversee in-house janitorial service and ground maintenance.
• Ensure site environmental compliance and permits are kept current.
• Coordinate with public utilities, environmental and energy agencies.
• Ensure safety training for all employees and enforce safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in facilities operations in terms of cost and efficiency.
